By nature, I’ve always loved helping people. For a long time, I found myself doing small things here and there offering support, lending a listening ear without realizing that maybe, just maybe, it was part of something bigger. Something divine. Everything changed when I stepped into my calling as an evangelist. I began to understand that encouraging others, lifting them up, giving a voice to the voiceless, and bringing hope to the hopeless wasn’t just something I enjoyed—it was part of my God-given purpose.
And maybe… just maybe, you are the one God is calling right now. Right where you are. To rise up and be a voice of hope. To strengthen the weary. To comfort the broken. To lift the fallen. To lead the lost back into the light.
Your hands, your words, your heart, God wants to use them to change lives. Don’t wait for a title or a platform. The calling is already on you. You might already be doing kingdom work and not even realize it. This could be your moment of realization: this is your calling.
How can we truly call ourselves followers of Christ if we turn away from those who’ve lost their way, those who don’t look like us, speak like us, or live like us? Isn’t this exactly why we preach the Gospel? To reach them?
There are so many people around us who’ve been rejected not because they’re evil, but because they’ve made mistakes. They’re judged for how they dress, how they speak, or who they associate with. Some are battling addiction. Some have been in prison. Some are simply lost. But they’re still human. And more than that—they’re still loved by God.
They could be your son. Your daughter. Your neighbor. Your friend. And most of them aren’t asking for much. They just need someone to believe in them. Someone to guide them. Someone to remind them that their story isn’t over.
So the next time you go to church, walk through your neighborhood, or pass someone in the store who seems to be struggling don’t look away. Don’t criticize. Reach out. Show love. Gently lead. That’s what Jesus did, and that’s what He calls us to do.
Mark 2:17 says: “On hearing this, Jesus said to them, ‘It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.’”
To the youth, to the adults, to anyone who feels unseen, judged, or like you don’t belong please hear this: it’s okay. Jesus sees you. He knows your heart. And He’s calling you now.
Your life has purpose. There’s meaning for you beyond the pain. Beyond the mistakes. Beyond the past. Yes, you. I’m talking to you.
If your heart is open, just say: “Lord, what do You want me to do? Here I am—do as You please.”
